Signed third edition, second printing hardcover copy of Classic Descriptions of Disease by Ralph H. Major (Charles C. Thomas, 1945). Signed and inscribed by author on first page. Rare vintage medical / health / science book, with illustrations. An encyclopedic reference book for all things related to disease, their cases, effects and treatments. Some mild rubbing/scuffing to covers and shelf wear around the edges. Corners bumped and softened. A few instances of mildly split binding though spine is straight and binding remains fairly strong on the whole. Previous owner’s bookplate on front endpaper, otherwise pages are clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition.
