This vintage 1940's glass globe shaped vase was produced by the Rainbow Glass Company of Huntington, WV. It's made of clear glass with fired-on cranberry stain and hand painted with a design of white roses and leaves. The size is 7 3/4" tall.
Rainbow was located in Huntington, West Virginia from 1942 - 1973. They only decorated glass from 1942 - 1954. Glass was purchased from other Glass Companies and decorated with painting and staining among other techniques.
The condition is excellent with no cracks, chips, or wear.
The white spots that can be seen in the pictures are light reflections.
