Radios have been tested & appear to work? but ARE BEING SOLD FOR PARTS ONLY.
They both turn on & I can hear static & when the button to speak is pressed in, the "BAT P-RF" Gauge moves from green to red. You need to use new-good batteries & play with them a little within the machine battery pack to get it to work. Volume all the way up and Squelch all the way to the left is where i got static on all 3 channels.
Due to not having enough AA batteries, I could only test one at a time. Therefore I am not able to guarantee that you can speak over one walkie to the other. However, I would assume you can since they appear to be working properly?
The leather cases show signs of wear from age as the leather is soft on the latch & has broken on one as shown in photos.
