This is an authentic vintage N-3B parka, manufactured by D.J. MANUFACTURING CORP., a U.S. government contractor. This jacket is the real deala heavy-duty piece of military surplus designed for extreme cold weather. It's often referred to as a "snorkel parka" due to its zip-up hood that leaves a small "snorkel" opening for the wearer's face.
