Signed limited first edition (number 549 of 1000 printed) hardcover copy of Gold Dredging Boats Around Breckenridge, Colorado by Erl H. Ellis (Johnson Publishing Company, 1967). Very rare vintage book telling the gold digging and prospecting history around the town of Breckenridge in Colorado. Richly illustrated, with photographs and large fold-out map. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some discoloration, scuffing and liquid damage to jacket faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creasing and small tears. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. A few instances of mildly split binding though spine is straight and binding remains strong on the whole. Soiling to outer edges of some pages, previous owner’s inscription and tape reside to reverse side of front free endpaper, otherwise pages are unmarked. See photos for condition.
